Origin of the cashmere

This cashmere stole is made from 100% pure cashmere from the Changthangi goat, native to the highlands of Changthang in the Himalaya. Across this vast, elevated landscape, Tibetan nomad families have kept their animals for generations, season after season. Because we stay in personal contact with our partner families, we hold ourselves to a simple standard: that the cashmere is won with respect, and in keeping with the natural order of the place it comes from.

Space & use

Its generous proportions create space: room to wrap yourself, to pause, to simply arrive. It can be worn as a wide wrap, a broad shawl, or kept close as a quiet companion for meditation and still moments. The fine fiber settles softly around the body and gives an even, comforting warmth.

Color & material

The stole is available in 20 shades. Three stay entirely natural and undyed, their nuance drawn purely from the original color of the fiber. The other 17 are dyed in Germany with synthetic dyes, widening the range you can choose from while leaving the fine character of the material untouched.

Craft

At our partner weaving mill in northern India, the cashmere is spun into a fine yarn and then woven on power looms by skilled weavers into a stole that is exceptionally light and soft. The work moves through several carefully sequenced steps, joining long experience with a calm, unhurried precision.

I am very happy with my scarf. It is feather-light and wonderfully warm. Thanks to the fineness of the weave, it folds down very small and fits in any handbag — so I always have it with me. I can only recommend that every bride carries one of these cashmere scarves as a beautiful, warming accessory on her wedding day.

If you have ordered the wrong color tone or you simply expected something else you can cancel the order within 30 days. Please note that you will pay for the return shipping label.

We will work quickly to ship your scarf. Please give us one day for handling your order and please calculate with 3 shipping days for any european destination. Once your order has shipped, you will receive an email with further information.

Our scarf are made from the pure changthangi cashmere from our nomad friends in Changthang. The cashmere is transported to Pathankot in the north of India. Here the cashmere is carded, spun and woven. This longterm relationship has grown over 30 years.

We love colors and the flexibility to react to new trend colors. That is why we brought the dyeing process back to Germany. The labour costs are slightly higher but we can totally control what chemicals we use to make the best results for you and the environment.

The shipping costs vary from country to country. For Germany we charge flat 6€.
